Setting:
Proxima Centauri Academy — located on a jagged, sapphire-hued plateau overlooking twin moons. The academy is both ancient and high-tech, with walls etched in alien code and dark matter tech humming through its halls.
Opening Scene:
The new class of Protectors has just arrived. Three students—Zoe, Bull, and Bendra—step off a gravity cruiser, their boots hitting the blackstone tiles for the first time. A whispering AI voice guides them in a language that sounds like memories spoken aloud.
They’re not just training for power—they’re being prepared to protect something deeper: The Archives, where unfiltered history from thousands of planets is stored.
But something’s wrong.
A breach alert pulses red across the academy walls. The Quantum Queen’s emissaries have located a backdoor into the archive system. They’ve never gotten this close before.
The Protectors must pass their first real test: Not only fight the invaders—but decide what truth is worth saving. Their instructors aren’t going to step in. This is their proving ground.
Themes:
Coming of age with galactic responsibility
Trust, memory, and truth
Internal team tension (Zoe wants to lead, but Bull doesn't follow orders. Bendra is brilliant but hides insecurity.)
What is "real history" and who decides?
Cliffhanger Ending:
They win—but not before the invaders steal one of the memory shards containing Earth’s 1865 Reconstruction history. The Quantum Queen now controls that timeline.
And the team?
They're now bonded—and targeted.
