It's time to close the gap on our differences. Let the urgency for change be the fuel that drives transformation. As a kid, I met Dr. King during his visit to Newark. He stopped on my block Fairmount Ave to help a friend whose family was being evicted. He was that kind of leader, busy—but not too busy to care.
